Mont-Royal, Montreal, QC
This beautiful stone house was treated to a full makeover. The exterior cladding and balcony were rejuvenated and the facade unified. Interior improvements left nothing to be desired: the kitchen, bathroom, basement and bedrooms were all renovated.
The expert removal of three load-bearing walls opened up the ground-floor plan to make the kitchen, dining room and living room communicate with each other. The dining room patio door leads to the backyard, now equipped with a modern and welcoming terrace.
A lot of thought was put into the choice of finishing materials in order to ensure stylistic coherence throughout the property. Such preparation is essential in this type of comprehensive project. From the facade to the yard, basement to bedrooms, the architectural result is remarkably harmonious.
